What is the Number 1 thing your website does
(or you would like it to do)?
When people first contact us about redesigning a website or building a new one, they often talk about color schemes. Dreamweaver. Which sites they think look good. Why they’d like a dropdown menu. All of these are good things to discuss. But all too often, site owners don’t have a clear idea of precisely what it is their website should do.
Business experts often say you should be able to sum up your business or service in 25 words or less. We’ve got website functions stripped down even further, to one word. Obviously these categories are arbitrary and they overlap. A site that sells stuff can also inform, many entertainment sites are social networks, and so on. But what is your site’s MAIN focus or function?
If you don’t know, you may want to figure it out before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a website that doesn’t work for you.
